Like a staircase of colour, this blue steps lapis lazuli ring is crafted in solid 18K gold with extra blue, Grade AAA inlaid lapis lazuli. Stepped segments of stone and metal give the ring a crisp, rhythmic profile.
Each segment is cut and fitted by hand by Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile. Extra blue lapis lazuli is the most intense colour of this ancient stone, which was treasured by Egyptians and Mesopotamians and later ground into ultramarine by Renaissance painters.
