Lapis lazuli meditation stones are simple, polished forms of natural lapis, made to be held in the hand, placed on a desk or kept in a quiet corner of the home. Many people like to hold a smooth stone during moments of stillness, and the deep blue of lapis, traditionally associated with wisdom and truth, makes it a long-standing favorite.
Two shapes are available in this part of our Cabochons, Tiles and Stones collection. The lapis lazuli meditation eggs have a soft oval form that fits naturally in the palm, and the lapis lazuli meditation sphere is a perfectly rounded stone that also works as a paperweight or a decorative object on a shelf. Each is cut and polished by our artisans in Santiago, Chile, to bring out the full color of the stone.

Most of our lapis comes from Chile’s mine in the Andes, and we also work with Afghan lapis. Since every stone is natural, each egg or sphere has its own shade of blue, white calcite veining and golden pyrite flecks.
