Faith is often carried quietly, and our lapis lazuli crosses and stars of David are made to be worn that way: close to the heart, every day, in a stone whose deep blue has been prized for thousands of years. Each piece is cut and set by hand in our Santiago workshop, part of the charms and pendants we have made since 1972.
The crosses span many styles. In 950 sterling silver there are the classic, rectangular and thick rectangular crosses, the Edwardian cross with its ornate outline, the tubular cross, the arrowhead and mandala crosses and the clover cross. In 18K gold you will find the large and thick rectangular crosses, the triangular cross, the tear cross and the gold clover cross. For Jewish jewelry, the Star of David charm comes in silver and in a lapis and 18K gold version.
A cross or star in lapis makes a meaningful gift for a baptism, first communion, bar or bat mitzvah, confirmation or wedding, and it suits a fine chain for everyday wear. Silver gives a cool, clean contrast to the blue; gold warms it and picks up the pyrite flecks.
