Sterling Silver and Lapis Lazuli Edwardian Cross

Graceful and ornate, this Edwardian lapis lazuli cross takes its inspiration from the refined jewellery of the early twentieth century. It is handcrafted in 950 sterling silver with inlaid lapis lazuli, combining delicate silver detail with rich blue stone.

Each cross is made by hand in Chile by Lapis Lazuli World artisans, who cut the lapis lazuli to fit every contour of the design. The stone has been prized since antiquity and was ground into the ultramarine that Renaissance painters used for sacred art, adding depth to this elegant piece. Fine silver detailing around the inlay gives the cross a lace-like delicacy, echoing the ornamental style of the era that inspired it, while the stone adds depth and colour.
