Built from linked modules that move together, our lapis lazuli hinge necklaces follow the curve of the neck like a flexible collar. Each module is inlaid with natural stone and joined to the next by a small hinge, so the necklace lies smoothly while keeping a bold, sculptural look.
The collection is small and each design has a strong character. The Cleopatra and Pharaoh hinge necklaces draw on ancient Egyptian collars, with lapis lazuli framed in sterling silver. The Osiris hinge necklace combines lapis with green malachite, and the Lican Sha necklace links oval modules of lapis lazuli and malachite for a softer, rounded rhythm.
All metalwork is 950 sterling silver, and the hinges are assembled by hand in our workshop in Santiago, Chile, where our family has crafted lapis jewelry since 1972. Most of the lapis comes from Chile’s mine in the Andes. Since each stone is natural, every module shows its own blue, white calcite veining or golden pyrite flecks, which gives the whole necklace a unique pattern.
Among our necklaces, these are the pieces to choose for a special occasion or whenever you want your jewelry to be the focus of an outfit. Lapis lazuli hinge necklaces pair beautifully with simple earrings and an open neckline, and they come straight from the manufacturer.
