Lapis Lazuli Loose Cabochons

Lapis lazuli loose cabochons are the same stones our artisans use in our own jewelry, offered unset for jewelers, designers and hobbyists who want to create their own pieces. As manufacturers, we cut and polish every cabochon in our family workshops in Santiago, Chile, where we have worked with lapis lazuli since 1972.

Most of our lapis lazuli comes from Chile’s mine in the Andes, and we also work with Afghan lapis. Each cabochon is selected for its color, with a rich royal blue and natural golden pyrite flecks; some stones also show the fine white calcite veining that is a sign of natural lapis. Because every stone is natural, each one is unique.

The collection currently includes three shapes:

• The Lapis Lazuli Oval Cabochon, a classic choice for rings and pendants
• The Lapis Lazuli Round Cabochon, ideal for earrings, studs and bezel settings
• The Lapis Lazuli Square Faceted Cabochon, whose facets add a crisp, geometric touch
