Each of our lapis lazuli single bind rune charms carries one focused intention, expressed in a single bind rune: a character formed by merging several Norse runes into one symbol. They are fully crafted in solid 950 sterling silver with inlaid lapis lazuli and turquoise in our Santiago, Chile workshops, creating small jewels full of meaning.
Runes come from the Nordic lands of the Vikings. In Norse lore, Odin, father of Thor, hung from a tree in search of higher knowledge and received the runes as his reward; they were later used for writing and ritual. Today they are appreciated both as a symbolic system and as a window into the beliefs of people who lived closely with the natural world.
