Distinctive and thoughtfully made, this lapis lazuli st john cross is handcrafted in sterling silver with inlaid lapis lazuli. Instead of a bail, the chain passes through an opening in the upper part of the cross, so it hangs cleanly and close to the body.

Each cross is made by hand in Chile by Lapis Lazuli World artisans, who cut the stone to fit the silver and polish it smooth. Lapis lazuli has been treasured since antiquity, and Renaissance painters ground it into ultramarine to colour the robes of sacred figures, a fitting heritage for a cross named after a saint.
