Description

Luxurious and practical, this malachite and sterling silver box is handcrafted in African malachite. Its edges and hinges are 950 sterling silver, so the green stone sits within a bright, crisp frame. This is a special order item, which means we prepare it after you order.

The outer measurements are 105 mm long by 60 mm wide by 45 mm high (4.13 inches L x 2.35 inches W x 1.75 inches H). This box does not include the top Malachite stone lid. Instead, it ships with the sterling silver lids and hinges, ready for you to install a plaque as the cover.

That open top gives you room to personalize it. For example, you could add an engraved plaque with a name, a date or a company logo. As a result, the box works well as an award, a retirement gift or a wedding keepsake.

You can also order it with an optional sterling silver bottom frame and feet, as pictured. The feet lift the box slightly, which gives it a more formal look on a desk or a shelf.

Malachite is famous for its bands of green, from pale mint to deep forest. Because each stone forms differently, no two boxes share the same pattern. So your malachite and sterling silver box will be truly one of a kind.
