Our single sided chrismon charm carries one of the oldest symbols of the Christian faith. It joins the first two Greek letters of the word Christ: X (chi) and P (rho).
The emblem has stood for Christianity since the time of Constantine the Great. According to tradition, he believed in the prophecy “In Hoc Signo Vinces,” which means “under this sign you will be victorious.” Today, many believers still wear the chi-rho as a quiet sign of faith.
The charm measures 0.97 inches in diameter, so it reads clearly without feeling heavy. We craft it in solid 950 sterling silver, and the inlay is lapis lazuli, whose deep blue makes the silver letters stand out.
