This ring is a work of art. The wide Cleo inlaid band ring is made of 950 solid silver, inlaid all around with stone that is adjusted so tightly the surface looks seamless.
Continuous inlay is one of the most demanding techniques in jewelry making. Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile cut and fit each piece of stone by hand so the band feels smooth to the touch. In deep blue Lapis Lazuli, the stone prized since antiquity and ground into ultramarine by Renaissance painters, the effect is especially striking.
