This cleo lapis lazuli inlay band is a work of art: the solid 18K gold band is inlaid all around with stone, fitted so tightly that it is seamless. A continuous ring of deep blue circles the finger, edged by fine lines of gold.
Achieving a seamless inlay around a full band takes patience and skill, and Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile shape each piece by hand. Lapis lazuli, prized since antiquity and ground into ultramarine by Renaissance painters, gives the band its velvety colour.
