Elegant and slender, these 18K gold marquise lapis lazuli earrings are post earrings with an elongated marquise inlay of lapis lazuli. They are handcrafted in Chile in the Lapis Lazuli World workshop.
The pointed marquise shape is a classic in fine jewelry, lengthening the line of the ear and giving the stud a refined look. Deep blue lapis, often flecked with golden pyrite, glows against polished 18K gold. Solid gold back, post and closures complete the pair. Every piece is cut, fitted and polished by hand before it leaves our Chilean workshop, a process that rewards patience and a careful eye. Lapis Lazuli World combines traditional Chilean craftsmanship with fine metals and carefully selected stones, and this design is a lovely example of that approach.
