The butterfly is sculpted in warm gold, its wings brought to life with deep blue lapis lazuli. The stone’s natural golden flecks pick up the gold of the setting beautifully. Lapis lazuli has been treasured since the days of the ancient Egyptians. Every piece is cut, fitted and polished by hand before it leaves our Chilean workshop, a process that rewards patience and a careful eye. Lapis Lazuli World combines traditional Chilean craftsmanship with fine metals and carefully selected stones, and this design is a lovely example of that approach.
