Inspired by a museum piece, these Egyptian lapis lazuli hanging earrings echo the jewellery of the ancient Nile. They are handcrafted in 950 sterling silver with extra blue lapis lazuli inlaid, and their clever design makes them very light and easy to wear.
Part of our Museum Collection, each pair is made by hand in Chile by Lapis Lazuli World artisans. Lapis lazuli was one of the most treasured materials in ancient Egypt, used in royal jewellery and funerary objects, so this design carries a story that spans thousands of years. The deep blue inlay against bright silver recalls the classic colour palette of ancient Egyptian adornment.
