Our Etruscan lapis lazuli gold bead necklace is a new piece in The Museum Collection. It follows a museum Etruscan design, pairing solid 18K gold beads with grade AAA, extra blue 8 mm lapis lazuli beads.
The Etruscans of ancient Italy were famous for their fine goldwork, so this necklace pays tribute to a long tradition. Our artisans string each bead by hand, alternating warm gold with deep blue stone. The result is a calm, balanced rhythm that feels both ancient and current.
Gold and lapis lazuli have been paired since antiquity, for example in Mesopotamian royal jewelry and Egyptian treasures. That is why the combination still looks regal today. The intense blue of the AAA beads also brings out the glow of the solid gold.
The necklace measures 17 inches, a classic length for everyday and evening wear. It works with an evening gown, yet it also lifts a simple sweater or white blouse. An absolute eye-catcher, the Etruscan lapis lazuli gold bead necklace is the kind of jewel that becomes an heirloom.
