Ready for your own jewelry project, these 16×12 mm lapis lazuli cabochons are oval, extra blue lapis lazuli stones measuring 1.6 cm x 1.2 cm. Each cabochon weighs approximately 7.77 carats.
Every cabochon is cut and polished by Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile, giving it a smooth dome that shows off the stone’s intense colour and natural golden pyrite flecks. Lapis lazuli has been prized since antiquity by Egyptians and Mesopotamians and was later ground into ultramarine, the most precious pigment of Renaissance painters.
These calibrated stones are ideal for jewelers and designers creating rings, pendants or cufflinks, and for collectors of fine minerals. They are also available in all our stones.
