Inspired by a museum find, this Egyptian lapis lazuli chevalier ring has a strong, regal presence. We handcraft it in 950 sterling silver with a rectangular lapis lazuli inlay.
We select the stone to be extra blue, with very few natural inclusions. As a result, the face shows a clean, intense color from edge to edge. Then Egyptian motifs, carved at each side of the thick sterling silver band, frame the stone like an ancient seal.
The chevalier is a classic gentleman’s ring, yet this version suits anyone who loves bold, historic design. For example, it looks handsome with a tailored jacket, and it also adds character to jeans and a simple shirt.
The ring face measures approximately 0.75 inches tall by 0.5 inches wide. However, please note that the overall ring size determines these measurements, so the proportions stay balanced on every hand.
