The Dove of Love lapis lazuli necklace pairs a pendant and chain in a design of solid elegance. Its modern lines feel clean and calm, yet the details reward a closer look.
We craft the pendant by hand in 950 sterling silver and center it with lapis lazuli. Many traditions see lapis lazuli as a gem of love and protection. Its golden-speckled blue makes that idea easy to picture.
Around the stone, the silver shows low relief ornamentation shaped like the wings of a dove. So the bird seems to wrap the gem in a gentle embrace. The dove is also a well-known sign of peace and love in many cultures.
The pendant measures 1.3 inches long by 0.5 inches wide and 0.3 inches deep. Because it is slim, the shape sits neatly on the chest. The necklace measures 17 inches long, and additional lengths are available.
