Long, bold and graphic, the Imala zebra long lapis earrings are handcrafted in 950 sterling silver with inlaid stone. Solid sterling silver posts and closures keep them comfortable and steady, and they measure 2 inches long.
The zebra stripes are formed by fitting narrow pieces of stone between fine lines of silver, a precise inlay technique done entirely by hand in our workshop in Chile. With lapis lazuli, the stripes glow in deep blue with possible golden pyrite flecks, a stone prized since antiquity and once ground into ultramarine by Renaissance painters.
Their 2-inch length makes them an eye-catching accent that still feels light enough for everyday wear. Pair them with a ponytail and a simple top, or let them add rhythm to an evening outfit.
