The small lapis cap adds a refined finishing touch, giving the round bead a subtly sculpted look. Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile hand-select every bead for its intense colour. Lapis lazuli has been prized since the time of the pharaohs and was ground into ultramarine, the most precious blue of Renaissance painting.
