An original checkered pattern combines lapis lazuli, obsidian and nacar in this checkered lapis lazuli cufflinks set. Crafted in solid 950 sterling silver with inlaid stone, the set consists of a pair of cufflinks and four matched tuxedo shirt studs.
The checkerboard design brings together three natural materials: deep blue lapis lazuli with its golden pyrite flecks, glossy black obsidian and the soft iridescence of nacar, also known as mother-of-pearl. Each small square is cut and fitted by hand, then polished smooth so the colours meet in a crisp, even pattern. This kind of precise inlay is a hallmark of our workshop in Chile, showing incredible craftsmanship in every piece.
