Our pyramidal lapis lazuli cufflinks bring a touch of architecture to the cuff. We handcraft them completely in 950 sterling silver, and each one rises in a stepped, pyramid-like form.
At the top, the silver ends in a flat lapis lazuli “terrace”. We specially select an extra blue stone for this surface, then inlay it by hand so it sits flush with the metal. As a result, the blue looks like a calm pool at the summit of a small silver temple.
These are sizable cufflinks, so they read clearly from across a room. They measure 0.7 inches wide, 1.0 inch long and 0.7 inches deep. That depth gives them a sculptural profile, which means they look good from the side as well as from above.
Pair them with a white or pale blue French cuff shirt for the strongest contrast. They also suit a navy suit, because the lapis echoes the color of the fabric. For example, a groom, a best man or a father of the bride could wear them on the big day.
