Description

A bracelet with history in its soul and elegance at its heart. Inspired by the treasures of Pharaoh Shoshenq II, this handcrafted sterling silver piece showcases a luminous oval cabochon of Lapis Lazuli, carved into the sacred Heart Scarab—an ancient emblem of love, protection, and transformation.

Framed by delicate lotus flower accents in silver relief, the design celebrates purity and renewal, while the deep celestial blue of the stone evokes timeless beauty. Both a talisman and a jewel, this bracelet brings the mystery of ancient Egypt into your modern style.

Handcrafted in 950 Sterling Silver with an extra blue Lapis Lazuli cabochon, this bracelet is made in the original style, meaning the bracelet can be dissembled, and it is secured together with a locking pin.

Shoshenq II was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 22nd Dynasty, part of the Libyan (Meshwesh) line of kings who ruled during Egypt’s Third Intermediate Period (c. 943–716 BCE).

Here are the key points about him:

  • 🔹 Identity & Reign:
Shoshenq II is considered somewhat enigmatic because his reign was very short and is not well-documented in historical records. Scholars debate whether he ruled as an independent pharaoh or as a co-regent (possibly with his father Osorkon I).

  • 🔹 Burial:
His intact tomb was discovered in Tanis (northern Egypt) in 1939 by French archaeologist Pierre Montet. Unlike many other royal tombs, it had not been plundered, making it a remarkable archaeological find.

  • 🔹 Treasures:
The tomb contained an extraordinary set of funerary objects, including gold jewelry, lapis lazuli amulets, a solid silver coffin, and the famous Heart Scarab bracelet we have replicated. These artifacts are among the finest examples of Egyptian craftsmanship from this period.

  • 🔹 Historical Importance:
Though Shoshenq II’s political impact was limited due to his short reign, his tomb provided rare insight into the burial practices and artistry of the Libyan-descended pharaohs of the 22nd Dynasty.

Measurements:  6.7 cm diameter
