Our 5 cm square lapis lazuli tiles bring jewelry quality stone to decorative work. Each tile is a seamless mosaic of selected, extra blue lapis lazuli. Because the pieces fit so closely, the surface shows almost no inclusions at all.
When you group several tiles together, they create a uniformly blue surface. That surface keeps all the richness and brightness of the stone, and it also diffuses light in a soft, even way. As a result, a small area of tiles can glow like a single slab of lapis.
These 5 cm square lapis lazuli tiles work best for fine accent work. For example, you can use them as a border in a kitchen backsplash, a frame around a mirror, or an inset in a tabletop. They also suit a fireplace surround or a bathroom niche, where the blue can catch the light.
The polished finish feels smooth to the touch and reflects light well. Since each tile is a neat square, it is easy to plan a layout in even rows. The extra blue color also stays consistent from tile to tile, so the finished surface looks calm and unified.
