Choose our 5 x 2.5 cm lapis lazuli tiles when you want a deeper blue surface. Their slim, rectangular shape gives you more control over color and pattern.
Because each tile is smaller, it shows fewer streaks than our bigger tiles. So when you group them together, the surface looks bluer and deeper in color. The effect is rich and even, much like a field of dark ultramarine.
Our 5 x 2.5 cm lapis lazuli tiles are also fantastic for accent work. For example, you can lay them in a brick pattern for a backsplash border, or run a single line along a shelf edge. Their narrow shape also fits neatly into tight spaces, such as stair risers, window sills or a small tabletop.
Each tile has a polished finish that reflects light and feels smooth to the touch. Then, as you build the design, the slim proportions let you work in clean, modern lines. Since lapis lazuli is a natural stone, the shade shifts gently from tile to tile, which gives the finished surface quiet depth.
These tiles suit both home projects and custom furniture. In addition, they make a beautiful base for boxes, frames and other small decorative pieces.
All our lapis lazuli is of exceptional grade and completely natural. We are one of the few jewelers who never use synthetic stones and never dye our lapis to mask poor quality – practices that are all too common, as much of the lapis lazuli sold today is dyed, reconstituted or imitation stone.
