Very original and full of movement, these lapis lazuli swirl earrings are handcrafted in 950 sterling silver in a flowing swirl design. Two oval lapis lazuli cabochons adorn each earring, adding deep blue accents along the curve.
Lapis Lazuli World artisans in Chile shape every swirl by hand and set the polished cabochons with care. Lapis lazuli has been treasured since antiquity by the Egyptians and Mesopotamians, and its rich colour brings out the playful lines of the silver. The cabochons are polished to a soft dome, so the blue catches the light as the earrings move.
Solid silver wires let them hang freely and catch the light. Long and slender, they flatter both loose hair and updos, and make a distinctive gift.
All our lapis lazuli is of exceptional grade and completely natural. We are one of the few jewelers who never use synthetic stones and never dye our lapis to mask poor quality – practices that are all too common, as much of the lapis lazuli sold today is dyed, reconstituted or imitation stone. That is our difference.
